Larios and Ponce-DeLeon are Victorious on ‘Solo Boxeo’
WBC super bantamweight champion Oscar Larios kept sharp Friday night with a ten round unanimous decision victory over Jesus Perez in a non-title bout that headlined Telefutura’s ‘Solo Boxeo’, which was telecast live from Sundance Square in Fort Worth, Texas. Scores for Larios were 98-92 and 96-94 (twice). With the win, Larios ups his record to 52-3-1 (35 KOs). The game Perez falls to 21-5-3 (11 KOs).

In the televised co-main event, 2000 Mexican Olympian Daniel Ponce DeLeon saw a professional fight go to the scorecards for the first time, but he passed his test with flying colors as he outworked veteran Carlos Contreras (18-10-3, 12 KOs) to win a ten round unanimous decision. Scores were 98-92 and 97-93 (twice) for the undefeated junior featherweight contender, who improves to 22-0 (21 KOs).
