Brown will hold a press conference on the steps of the John A. Wilson Building to give the city's official welcome as big time boxing returns to Washington, DC. Several of the "Capital Showdown" fighters, including the Peterson brothers and Seth Mitchell will be in attendance, as well as representatives from Golden Boy Promotions, HBO Sports and Events DC. Special appearance by legendary current Light Heavyweight World Champion Bernard Hopkins. Location:First Floor Lobby; 1350 Pennsylvania Ave. NW; Washington, DC 20004 TOMORROW!Thursday, Dec. 8 2:00 p.m. Final Press Conference WHAT:All of the "Capital Showdown" fighters will appear together for the final press conference at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center. Joined by Olympic Gold medalist, Ten-Time World Champion and Golden Boy Promotions President Oscar de la Hoya and legendary middleweight and current Light Heavyweight World Champion Bernard Hopkins, the fighters will give their final thoughts before they enter the ring Saturday night.
